Swigi was the first startup I worked at. Since the company was very small, I was the lead product designer and was responsible for designing the website and product. The Swigi product offered the ability to switch gift cards to money or to other gift cards. The main goal for the design was to present a UI that was clear, easy to understand, and interact with so the user can switch their gift card fast and easy. This is a presentation of the refreshed redesign that I made for the product just for self exploration and to improve my design thinking.

Insert Your Gift Card
The first step of the switching process in swgi is to select the gift card you have and want to switch, you can either choose from the popular selections or to search your gift card manually.
Insert Your Gift Amount and Type
In these screens the user asked to fill in how much money he have inside the gift card, and if the gift card he has is physical or digital, this information is necessary to continue the switching process.
Forth Step and Final Result
THE FORTH AND LAST STEP IN THE PROCESS IS TO SELECT WHAT YOU WANT INSTEAD OF THE GIFT CARD. IT CAN BE EITHER AN ASOS OR AMAZON GIFT CARD, OR CASH.
AFTER THE USER SELECTS AN OPTION IN THE FORTH STEP, THEY WILL BE TAKEN TO THE RESULT PAGE, WHERE THEY SEE HOW MUCH MONEY THEY GET AFTER TAX BEING DEDUCTED. AFTER THAT THEY CHOOSE IF THEY WANT TO SWITCH AND FINISH THE PROCESS BY THEMSELVES, OR WITH A HELP OF AN AGENT.
NEXT, THE USER FILLS IN THE FORM AND THE PROCESS IS COMPLETED

The forth and basically the last step in the process is to select what you want instead of the gift card, it can be either gift card in asos, amazon, or just money
After the user will select an option in the forth step, it will get him to the result page, where he sees how much money he deserves after tax.
After that he basically choose if he wants to switch and finish the process by himself, of with an help of an agent.
Next, the user just need to fill in the form and the process is done, and he will have the new gift card or money.
